Again, for my day 6, I used the inspiration the book offered, but with my own painting gear. This is but one of my several small palettes, two of my favorite everyday-usage brushes, one of my fountain pens and a couple of my favorite tubes of paint (both of which are colors actually in this palette). For me, the brushes are a real challenge to paint, but I guess you can tell what they are. I really like the way the tubes of paint look, kind of used, squished and realistic.
Then, as sometimes happens, I dropped my fully-loaded brush right on the almost completed sketch, but managed to mostly cover up the mess – especially since it hit on the palette part and mine always look messy and well used anyway, so the extra paint slopped there is rather fitting!
